In April of 1999 I made a journey from my old home in San Jose, California, to my current one in Tampa, Florida. The purpose of my visit was to meet a "national treasure," a virtual gold mine of information on combative sports and world-class conditioning.

The "national treasure" I visited was not a monument or a library with four walls. It was a MAN by the name of Karl Gotch. And it was this "national treasure," a 1948 Olympian in Greco-Roman and freestyle wrestling - and a real pro, who turned my life around.

Before meeting Karl I thought I knew a lot about conditioning. Afterall, I was a national collegiate wrestling champion and a world Shuai-chiao kung fu champion (the only American to ever win the title in China). I had also made videos on the subject of conditioning that people raved about.

But I live by the philosophy, "Never stop learning," and when I met Karl, this philosophy was really put to the test. Everything I previously believed was challenged. And when I came through the tunnel on the other side, I found that my new teacher was right.

I'm doing things at 37 that I've never been able to do. I'm stronger and more flexible. I have greater endurance. My back, neck, hips, knees and elbows are pain free for the first time since 1984. How many of you can say the same thing? How many of you wake up in the morning with a back ache?

You can correct that, too. No problem.

And guess what? You can strengthen all of your problem areas and make rapid progress everywhere else by using nothing more than your own bodyweight. You can train at home for 15 minutes a day and turn yourself into a fitness machine.

Yes, the exercises Karl Gotch taught me work better than weights and better than cardiovascular equipment. Even better, you'll never need to spend another dollar at a gym. You'll never need to buy useless equipment that turns into a clothes rack or hides beneath your bed, where it is forgotten.

Does this sound too good to be true? Understood. But all you need for evidence is a quick look at animals in the wild. They are stronger, faster and more flexible than humans - yet, they don't lug a machine or barbell around when they train. They got their abilities by working with nothing more than their own bodyweight.

The same is true of gymnasts. They are the only athletes who don't use weights but can press their own bodyweight like nothing. Give them the weight and it's BANG. No problem. Most importantly, a gymnast can do FAR MORE with his body than a weight lifter or bodybuilder. And that's what people today want: FUNCTIONAL FITNESS.

Think about it: What does it matter how you look or how much you can lift if you haven't mastered your own bodyweight?

What does it matter if you have "big guns" but nothing behind them when it comes to combat sports? What does it matter if you have "six-pack" abs but you can"t turn your waist in all directions and from all angles? You're kidding yourself if you think "the look" makes you a good athlete. You're kidding yourself if you think "the look" means you're in condition.

And that's why I came out with a set of three videos that complement my best-selling book, "Combat Conditioning: Functional Exercises for Fitness & Combat Sports." These videos give you the details that will get you in top-notch condition faster than any other program on the market.

There is nothing else like them.

In the first video, "The Leg & Lung Workout," you'll learn the amazing exercise called Hindu squats. This exercise alone has changed the physical conditioning level of tens of thousands of people in the last several months. But over the last 3000 years it has helped millions and millions. The exercise is nothing new, but few in the west knew about it before the publication of "Combat Conditioning." Now, when you do Hindu squats, you'll know why these people say they "feel like a NEW PERSON."

They might have enough gas in the tank for a one-time lift, but that isn't real life or combat. You need HIGH ENERGY all day long. Once you can do 100 straight Hindu squats, watch your energy levels SOAR. When you can do 500 straight you're on your way to achieving great things in any area of your life. Anyone who can concentrate hard enough to do 500 straight Hindu squats has the mental tools to achieve all of his dreams and goals because he can FOCUS. And boy, do these videos teach you to focus.

The second video, "The Pushup Workout," covers a dozen ways to do pushups. After you've followed this workout for a week you'll see muscles springing up all over the place. Your shoulders and chest will be stronger and your spine will be more flexible. You'll also discover one of the least known truths about pushups: They work your entire body. They work your legs, your hips, your back as well as your chest, shoulders and arms. And when you add the variety, doing them from all directions and angles, pushups hit your fingers, wrists, triceps, upper back and abs. Pushups are simply awesome. When you see this video, you'll never want to skip doing them.

The third video, "The Ab & Back Workout," teaches a revolutionary method of training the midsection and spine. Forget about the non-sense you hear in regard to "isolating" your abdominals. This is not good advice for a combat athlete or for a regular person. When you lift groceries, move furniture or do something physical at home or at work, you don't isolate muscles. You use your entire body. It's the same for a combat athlete as well.

Forget about overworking the hip flexors and psoas, too. Work everything at the same time: Your back, your hips, your buttocks, your abs ... and all the muscles of your spine.

Rid yourself of back pain in one to five workouts. Wake up in the morning feeling like a Rolls Royce instead of a "junker" ready for the scrap heap.

The information contained in these videos is something people have offered me big money to teach them, and they always hope I'm exclusive with the material. I have had college football players and martial artists come to me from all over the place, just to learn a few of these exercises ... and these people were willing to pay a lot of money for the knowledge.

It's hard to put a price tag on how valuable the exercises taught in these videos are. But to me, they are like bricks of gold.

How much do people pay to gyms and health clubs ... and/or for exercise equipment they never use? How much time do people spend in pain because they either under-exercise or follow a program that is bad for their health?
